Every suburb, one honest page
A single, consistent page for every Australian suburb and locality — what the public data says about living or visiting there, built the same way for each.
Real public data, openly cited
ABS Census and SEIFA, plus climate normals — with named sources on every page and a person accountable for it. No real-estate spin, no invented numbers.
A score you can check
The Suburb Score places each suburb on one 0–100 national scale from the ABS's own index — explainable, reproducible, and easy to quote.
The Suburb Score
We place suburbs on a single 0–100 national scale using the Australian Bureau of Statistics' SEIFA index of socio-economic advantage — the ABS's own published measure, not a weighting we invented. It's a transparent, area-level indicator, not a verdict on how good a place is to live or visit. How we calculate it.
Featured guides
Hand-written, individually researched and cited guides to well-known suburbs and towns — written and reviewed by named people, with the figures left to each page's data. 1155 so far.
Suburb rankings
The most socio-economically advantaged suburbs by the Suburb Score — nationally and by state. An ABS-derived measure of advantage, not a verdict on how good a place is to live.
